Brenda Carder

    Brenda Gail Little Carder, 76, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021.
    She was a native of Marietta, Ga.
    Brenda enjoyed reading and playing video games. She had been a devoted caregiver to her parents.
    Brenda had worked as a secretary for Wells and West, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
    She was the daughter of the late Gauvain John and Minnie Hughes Little. She also was preceded in death by her stepmother, Winnie Hembree Little; and a stepbrother, Jimmy Hembree.
    Surviving are her husband, Ralph Carder; a son, Daniel Carder and wife Lisa; two daughters, Patricia Carder, and Samantha Wicker and husband Robert; a sister, Deborah Elliott; stepbrother, Roger Hembree and wife Sharon; and stepsisters, Lois Turner and Lucille Gifford; grandsons, Kyle Holloway and Daniel W. Carder; granddaughter, Abigal Carder; step-grandson, Michael Holden and wife Lindsay; and great-step-grandchildren, Arianna, Mckinlie and Mason Holden.
    Burial will be held in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
