Betty Coffey, 83, of Marble, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at Valley View Care Center in
Andrews.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Griffie Truett.
Betty enjoyed cooking and canning, and worked as a bookkeeper.
She was a member of Andrews First Baptist Church.
Betty is survived by her husband, Giles Coffey; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lori Coffey; brother, Goldie Truett; grandchildren, Dan Coffey and wife Stephanie, and Beth Kinzly and husband Chad; and great-grandchildren, Truett and Loc Coffey.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. The Rev. Al Hood and Pastor Harold Stiles officiated. Music was provided by Harry and Katie Gilbert. Burial was in Maltby Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Wood, Eddie Wood, Eddie Hoilman, Jeff Mashburn, John Kilpatrick and Mitchell Arrowwood.
The family received friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
