Barbara “Bobbie” Carroll, 78, of Murphy, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
She was born Aug. 9, 1943, in Cherokee County to the late Fred and Lola Dockery Carroll.
Bobbie had worked as a clerk in retail for Walmart.
She was a member of Grape Creek Baptist Church.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her son, Jason Doug Carroll; a brother, Bill W. Carroll; and sisters, Gladys Dockery, Evanell Curtis, Frances Trulove, June Curtis and Jean Carroll.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with Pastor Steve West officiating. Music was provided by Dawn and Mike Hogsed. Interment was in Grape Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Curtis, Randy Curtis, Jason Carroll, Ethan Carroll, Mike Hogsed and Jerry Hedden.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
