Ashley Ray

   Ashley Wickline Ray, 32, of Murphy, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021.
   She was born June 27, 1989, in Gainesville, Ga.
   Ashley was a fierce woman; always standing her ground and defending those she loved.
   Ashley was known as an outspoken person with strong opinions who was not afraid to let them be known. She was vibrant and full of life. Ashley’s greatest accomplishment in life was being a mother to her boys.
   She will be forever remembered by her three sons, Mason, Dallas and Blaze; mother, Sherrie Rowland; brothers, Austin Rowland (Carina Dockery) and Todd Rowland; sister, Lindsay Smith and significant other Josh Little; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
   Ashley was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marilyn Garrett; aunt, Melinda Garrett; brother, Michael Wickline; and niece, Ava Smith.
   Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Eddie Ramey officiated. Burial was in Rowland Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Rogers, Neal Herrier, Joseph Nichols, Zack Suits, Creed Patterson, Austin Rowland and Todd Rowland. Honorary pallbearer was Josh Little.
   The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
