    Alice “Woppie” Wyvetta Bryant, 73, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020.
    She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, and the daughter of the late Jewell and Charlotte Humpries Nix.
    Alice was a sewing machine operator in the textile industry. She enjoyed working puzzles, yard sales, wagon train, pictures and collecting stamps.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Bryant.
    She is survived by one son, Jason Bryant and wife Kim; three sisters, Helen Pullium, Patricia Burrell and Tena Anderson; three grandchildren, Keishia Frady, Dillon Bryant and Jadrienne Bryant; and eight great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday, June 30, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Zack Orton officiated. Burial was in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Turtletown, Tenn. Pallbearers were James Bryant, Cleveland Davis, Brent Burrell, Bud Horton, John Horton, Dillon Bryant and Shane Allison.
    The family received friends from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 30, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
