    Aggie O’Meara, 74, of Marble, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, in a Murphy hospital.  
    She was a native of Posen, Ill. Following her marriage she lived in Washington, D.C., several years, and later returned to Joliet, Ill., where they remained for the next 41 years. Aggie moved to Marble in 2011.
    Aggie had a passion for animals. She volunteered much of her time to animal rescue. She also developed a love for alpacas and even raised a few.
    Aggie was also a gifted craftsman, and enjoyed crocheting for the animals she loved.
    She volunteered alongside her husband with the Toys for Tots program locally.
    She attended St. William Catholic Church.
    She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Celia Czachura. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Alex Czachura.
    Surviving are her husband of 53 years, David O’Meara of Marble; two sons, David O’Meara of Venice, Fla., and Shawn O’Meara and wife Marie of Bradenton, Fla.; one sister, Maryanne Robinson and husband Don of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Connor and Alexander; two great-granddaughters, Violet and Charlotte; also several nieces and nephews.
    A celebration of life will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, with Father George Byers officiating.  
    The family will receive friends from 6-6:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, prior to the services.
    Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, is in charge of all arrangements.
