Addie Lee Johnson, 80, of Murphy, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, and was born to the late John and Mary Moore Allen.
Addie was a caretaker.
She was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and also a choir member and missionary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Johnson; and brothers, Jim Allen, George Allen and Henry Allen.
She is survived by sons, Mitchell Lloyd, Zeke Johnson and wife Evon, Bo Johnson and wife Gail, Tony Johnson and wife Regitta, and J.J. Johnson and wife Crystal; daughters, Zula Cox, Fannie Johnson and husband Lamar, Jennifer Trammel and husband Ron, and Charlotte Charles and husband Roger; a brother, Rob Allen and wife Jan; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
