The experts got it wrong

I want to commend nurse Mary Mason of Murphy for her excellent response to the ridiculously naive and unscientific demand of Dr. Brian Mitchell that everyone be vaccinated with the unproven and dangerous substances being forced on the world’s population by tyrannical governments. Only a corporate-supported physician enjoying the financial benefits of government Covid-19 largesse would publish such a blatantly false U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, World Health Organization and Federal Drug Administration originated bundle of misinformation.

If you value your life, and those of your family and friends, stay away from the so-called vaccines and boosters. Covid-19 is only like the flu. It is eminently survivable.

Only the mainstream media, Dr. Anthony Fauci and big pharma want you to believe otherwise. Take off the mask and live your life. There is no truth supporting any mandate or restrictive policy because of the flu-like virus called Covid-19.

Bravo, Mary Mason.

Misinformed hurt others

To the editor of the Cherokee Scout, I have read the full-page paid advertisment written by Mary Mason on Oct. 27.

My first concern is for the reputation of Dr. Brian Mitchell, someone I know and trust and who has devoted his entire professional career caring for the residents of Cherokee County. In this day and age of misinformation and conspiracy, many people are being put in harm’s way by others who may not agree with their point of view.

As for the context of the piece, I have looked on the internet to try and verify some of these claims and the individuals involved and what was actually said. It is easy to find what you agree or disagree with nowadays due to the lack of oversite on these platforms.

Facebook is in the investigative situations of what they should and should not allow to be available on their sights. So I urge anyone who questions the claims and context of the piece to look it up and consider the sources of the information, and whether or not things were misquoted or taken out of context and by whom that was done.

I would say that comparing Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Anthony Fauci to Nazi references is a dangerous practice. No one is forcing anyone to be vaccinated; individual employers have every right to expect their employees to do the right thing, seek other options of their own or comply with their company guidelines.

I feel a public health crisis requires all citizens to consider their neighbors and practice the guide of what is considered the greater good of humanity and all living beings – including our planet, which is also under great threat.

This will require us to use common sense and always seek out fact from fiction.

Thankful for ad on COVID

Kudos to Mary Mason for her informative and most-needed advertisement on the Covid-19 vaccine, in the Oct. 20 edition of the Cherokee Scout.
