In observance of Teacher Appreciation Week, Murphy Mayor Tim Radford delivered a proclamation and treats for all staff members at Murphy Elementary, Murphy Middle and Murphy High schools along with Central Office. Radford is shown with Tommy Hollingsworth, interim principal at Murphy Elementary. Radford issued a proclamation from the town saying “teachers deserve our upmost respect and gratitude. … They are the ones who make a difference in our children’s lives. Thank you, teachers, for all you do.”
