Rick and DeeDee Siefken announced that they have sold Budget Blinds to Nick Frechette, a 17-year employee of Budget Blinds. The company offers a wide range of custom window treatments, including blinds, shutters, shades and window coverings for commercial space.
The Siefkens started the business 20 years ago. They have received many accolades over the years from Budget Blinds Corporate and the vendors they have supported.
Frechette came on board to Budget Blinds after eight years of being in operations retail management, and Ms. Siefken said he has been a great asset to the business, working as the lead product specialist and installation expert.
“We have full confidence in Nick’s ability to operate the business at the standards Rick and I have had since the birth of the franchise,” she said. “Our customer service goal has always been to treat our customers the way we would want to be treated.
“I may be a bit prejudiced, as Nick is my son. I am excited to see him carry on the local family business into the future.”
Her husband said he will miss the great friendships he has built with his customers over the years.
