Brasstown – Renee Lamance, owner of Soul Work Therapy & Bodywork, has been selected to study for a 16-day period at the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University’s 3rd Affiliated Hospital in Hangzhou, China.
A massage therapist for 18 years, Lamance said she has been furthering her studies of Chinese medicine in order to offer more integrated therapies beyond massage including acupuncture and learning a focus on both herbal and physical applications of traditional practices.
Lamance’s studies will culminate with her graduation in 2025 from the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove. She said she is eager to offer new forms of healing to her clientele.
