Andrews – Mark your calendars for an event that's been loved and anticipated by locals and visitors alike since 2013.

Everyone is invited to the 10th Annual Christmas on Main Street festival on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy Christmas shopping and holiday fun with family and friends on Main St., in downtown Andrews, there will be so much to see and do.

There will be more than 165 craft vendors, gifts, bake sales and much more. Shop for handmade, crafted, original and fun items. You may not even need to shop elsewhere.

Elementary-age kids will have fun with activities just for them like Christmas themed games and activities, crafts and a children's Christmas play area at Reindeer Lane on Chestnut Street that will include a bounce house, petting zoo, screaming snowball toss, Christmas bingo with prizes, make-and-take Ornaments and much more.

Be sure to capture a memory or two in the selfie Santa Photo Booth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Don't miss the new and creative hay sculpture, the mini car show displaying automotive eye candy from the classics to futuristic forms of transportation or the Christmas tree courtyard.

At 10 a.m. on the steps of Andrews United Methodist Church, there will be a Christmas tree dedication with prayer and music. Be sure not to miss the Christmas tree lighting or the Victorian flash mob.

The popular Victorian Carolers will be walking up and down the street singing and bringing an old-fashioned feeling to Main Street. The first Victorian experience was in November 2017.

The Community Youth Players will be presenting two shows of “North Pole's Got Talent.” The shows will be at 1 p.m. and at 3 p.m. Tickets are just $5, age 5 and under are free.

Christmas on Main will also include food trucks with plenty to eat and drink, so there's no reason to leave when tummies start growling.

No festival is complete without music. Stay all day and listen to music by the Andrews School Choirs and Band, Smokey Mountain Gospel Singers, Sundown Band, the Steve Jordan Band, Betty Vaughn & Friends and more.

This once-a-year-signature event will offer too much fun to miss, so bring your family, friends and neighbors out to Christmas on Main. Be sure to notice Main Street's beautifully handcrafted additions to downtown, offering the feel of a Christmas from childhood with wintery sights and scents.
