The Roy Blackwell family of Nantahala recently provided a catered barbecue dinner for the Nantahala Volunteer Fire Department as a “thank you” for their work in the community as well as their prompt life-saving response when Gretchen Blackwell suffered a stroke in early July. Gretchen is recovering from another stroke she had shortly afterward while in Atlanta.
