Two vehicles were involved in an accident at 1:20 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. 64 West and Spur 60 in Ranger. No one was taken to the hospital. The Ranger Volunteer Fire Department, Cherokee County Emergency Services and N.C. Highway Patrol were on the scene. There was an airbag deployment in at least one of the vehicles as well as debris in the median, but traffic continued to flow.
