A Christmas caroling assembly was held in the Martins Creek School gymnasium on Dec. 14. Students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grades joined together for a school-wide sing along. The students performed “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas,” “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” There were also special performances by students and staff. Pre-kindergarten teacher Hillary Chastain performs “Mary Did You Know?” with her children, Aiden Chastain (third grade) and Alexis Chastain (third grade).
