Murphy – Carolina QuickCare, a fast-growing chain of urgent care clinics with 16 locations across North Carolina and more on the way, is opening a location in Murphy.
“Carolina QuickCare is proud to announce the groundbreaking of our newest urgent care clinic in Murphy, North Carolina,” the company said on its website, carolinaquickcare.com.
The clinic will be located 232 Bulldog Drive in Murphy, beside the former Sonic restaurant near Murphy High School. An opening date was not announced.
The company purchased the 0.70-acre lot for $217,500 in July.
The Murphy clinic is one of seven under construction for the fast-growing company. Another 12 locations are planned. Counted all together, that’s 35 locations, mostly in the central and eastern part of the state.
