Andrews – Two incumbents and four challengers are completing for two seats on the Andrews Board of Aldermen in the Nov. 7 town election.

One-term incumbents Jonathan Ellison and Michael Sheidy are running to keep their seats on the board. Challengers Randy Hogsed, Jodie Kozma, James McLean and Ted Paul would like to replace them.

Among the five-member Board of Aldermen, three seats are not up for election this cycle – Mayor James Reid, Mayor Pro Tem Brandi Smith and Alderman Steve Jordan.

These are the only Cherokee County offices with seats expiring in 2023. The seats go to the top two vote-getters.

The Cherokee Scout published profiles of each candidate in the Oct. 25 edition. Those profiles are also freely available to read online at www.cherokee-scout.com.
