Blairaville, Ga. – A mother and daughter from Murphy were tragically killed in a horrible automobile accident Saturday.

Krystal Ruth Beavers, 46, of Carson Lane, passed away Saturday along with her daughter, Annie Irelyn Harley West, 15, from injuries received in the accident.
“Annie was a freshman at Murphy High School and loved dearly by family and friends. Krystal was also a Murphy alumni and leaves behind two sons; Jaron, 21, and Eric, 18,” according to the gofundme.com fundraiser established in their memories by Raegan Curtis. “This is a devastating time for their family.
“With permission from the family, I am making this gofundme to try to help cover the funeral cost of not just one, but two beautiful lives. Anything is appreciated.”
Krystal was born in Blairsville but had family members in Andrews, Brasstown, Hayesville and Murphy. “Krystal’s family was her whole life,” according to her obituary.

Annie was a freshman in Cherokee County Schools. She loved her whole family, especially her two brothers and her dog, Pedro, according to her obituary.
Services were scheduled for after the Cherokee Scout’s press time Tuesday afternoon. The mother and daughter will be laid to rest in the Bellview Community Cemetery.
