Ranger – Mark your calendars and bring the whole family out from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to the Ranger Volunteer Fire Department, 155 Little Ranger Road.
Department members are celebrating their 50-year anniversary with free food, drinks and door prizes. Live demonstrations will include a vehicle extrication, rope repelling, turnout gear races, fire extinguisher lessons and more. Other fire departments will also be showing off their equipment.
Kids can jump in the bounce house and take a tour of the fire trucks. Sparky the Fire Dog will also be on the scene making his rounds.
Tours of the fire station will be given and, pending availability, Life Force
