Sam Jokich/Staff Correspondent A medical benefit was held for Todd and Misty Graves, well-liked members of the community, on Nov. 11 at the L&N Depot in Murphy. Misty suffered a heart attack and leg amputation as a result of her condition. The benefit – featuring lunch, a cakewalk and raffle – drew several hundred caring citizens to share a meal together with live music. All money raised will pay for medical expenses.
