Murphy – The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office concluded a four-month investigation into local drug trafficking, resulting in the arrest of 47-year-old local resident Elizabeth N. Pulaski.

The sheriff’s Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at Pulaski’s residence on March 25, when they allegedly seized 237 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of fentanyl, 10 grams of PCP, five grams of cocaine and five hydrocodone pills. Deputies also located numerous items of drug paraphernalia and $502 in cash.
Pulaski was being held in lieu of $600,000 bond at the Cherokee County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- Trafficking methamphetamine (two counts).
- Trafficking fentanyl.
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine.
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine.
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver Schedule II PCP.
- Felony possession of Schedule II controlled substance.
- Simple possession of Schedule II controlled substance.
- Maintaining a dwelling place for controlled substances.
- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sheriff Dustin Smith commended the Narcotics Division for their diligent work.
“This investigation and arrest demonstrate our commitment to combating drug trafficking in Cherokee County. We will continue to work tirelessly to keep our community safe from the dangers of illegal narcotics,” he said in a release.
