Maureen “Moe” Kent, 71, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023.
She was the daughter of the late Kermit and Betty Johnson Graves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kent; a brother, Shane Graves; and a sister, Vivian Hughes.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Kent; stepmother, Becky Graves; brothers, Allen, Todd and Preston Graves; a sister, Sandra Dragoo; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with the Revs. Billy Rhodes and Warren Golden officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Colt Jordan, Westley, Dylan and Josh Graves, and Dalton and Stephen Kent.
The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
