On Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, Margaret Beth Bruce, 80, a loving wife of 62 years, a mother of four, grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 20 was welcomed to Heaven.
As hard as the end of life is for those of us left behind, remember that God would never give a man a good woman and her offspring a loving mother unless they deserved her. Her physical presence will be missed but her love will remain deep in our hearts and passed on to those we treat with respect, kindness and care.
She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Billy Marie McKean Gustason.
Beth was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Bruce; one son, Richard Edward Bruce (Mary); three daughters, Dana Donnelly, Diana Shuler (Alan) and Dawn Doore (Jeff); two brothers, Jim Gustason and Martin Phillips; one sister, Francis Phillips; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church. The Rev. Noah Crowe and Dr. Chester Jones will officiate.
