Kermit Allen Graves, 91, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023.
He was the son of the late Bob and Elva Killian Graves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Vivian Hughes and Maureen Kent; a son, Shane Graves; brothers, Don Graves, Godfrey Graves and Bobby Joe Graves; and sisters, Minnice Dockery, Charlsie Kephart and Lenny Spivey.
Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Jo Taylor Graves; sons, Allen, Todd and Preston Graves; daughter, Sandra Dragoo; a brother, Jack Graves; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Billy Rhodes and Warren Golden officiating. Interment was in Ogreeta Cemetery. Pallbearers were Colt Jordan, Westley, Dylan and Josh Graves, and Dalton and Stephen Kent.
The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
