    Julie Claudine Dix, 61, of Marble, passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022.
    She was born Oct. 28, 1960, in Lawrenceville, Ga., to Joyce White Fowler of Marble and the late Ernest Fowler.
    Julie was a taxi driver. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Julie loved contra and square dancing at John C. Campbell Folk School. She also enjoyed embroidering and crocheting.
    Julie was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
    In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Shane Mull (Emily) of Hayesville, and Daniel Mull (Candace) of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; one brother, Joe Fowler (Connie) of Marble; and three grandchildren, Branson Mull, Isaac Mull and Elijah Mull.
    Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Les Seals officiated. Pallbearers were Shane Mull, Danie Mull, Joe Fowler, Jason Pendergrass and Dennis Day.
    The family received friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
