Joyce Farner, 74, of Marble, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.
She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Nellie Sneed Kephart.
Joyce had worked for Clifton in the textile industry. She loved gardening, canning and cooking for anyone.
Joyce loved the Lord and was a member of Maltby Baptist Church.
In addition to the parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Luke Roberson and Eddie Farner; brothers, Howard and Charles Kephart; and a sister, Helen Graves.
Surviving are sons, Jeff Roberson and wife April, and Mark Roberson and wife Angie; one stepdaughter, Leeann Pendergrass, one stepson, Dean Farner; sisters, Alice McDonald, Wilma Whitley, Barbara Lovingood and Linda Kilpatrick; grandchildren, Kent Roberson, Lane Roberson, Isaac Carter, Emily Roberson, Jacob Carter, and Abigail Farner; great-grandchildren, Adalyn Rose Roberson and Brantley Carter; and a bunch of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel, Murphy, with the Rev. Tommy Hayes officiating. Interment was in Maltby Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff, Ryan and Brandon Stiles, Brian Kilpatrick, Nathan Sneed and Isaac Rice.
The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel, Murphy, prior to the services.
