George "Terry" Deese, 66, of Beijing, China, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023.
Terry was born in Murphy on Nov. 2, 1956, to the late George W. and Myrtle H. Deese.
Terry spent most of his life working and traveling all over before settling in Beijing, China, with his wife. Terry was a "Jack-of-all Trades" and never met a stranger. Terry loved playing his guitar, traveling, fishing, photography and cooking.
Terry is survived by his wife, CaoYing of Beijing, China; brothers, George "Butch" Deese of Daytona, Fla., John "Johnny" Deese of Murphy, Perry "Kip" Deese of Murphy; and one sister, Melinda "Sam" Deese Barrilleaux of Murphy. Terry is also survived by his niece, nephews and great-nephews, along with many cousins and friends all over.
Terry's sudden and unexpected death has left a hole in our hearts.
