Betty Kate Coker, 77, of Marble, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, surrounded by her family in peace.
Betty loved her grandkids more than anything. She loved yard selling and watching ball games. Betty was truly one of a kind, with a heart of gold. She will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband of 52 years and many siblings.
Surviving are her children, Melissa Cruse, Burton Coker and Miranda Coker; five grandkids, Brittany Burns, Dylan Cruse, Chase Coker, Caley Coker and Collin Cruse; six great-grandkids, Gracie Burns, Ramsey Burns, Tatum Cruse, Levee Burns, Channing Coker and Hartley Burns; and one amazing pup, Finlee Coker.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Bobby Stalcup conducted the service. Pallbearers were great-nephews and grandsons, Gary Derreberry, Matthew Derreberry, Cory Derreberry, Chase Coker and Dillion Cruse.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
