Jeff Sparks
Body

Jeffrey Walter Sparks, 58, of Andrews, crossed the finish line and met his Savior on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
We are sure his reward is great and that he is enjoying his reunion with his brother, Ramon; his best friend, Steve; and teaching his son, Caelan, how to fish.
Jeff was a member of Marble Springs Baptist Church, where he served on the servant leader team and as the most enthusiastic greeter.
He was a 20-year volunteer firefighter/EMT with Valleytown Fire Department, serving as president of the Board of Directors during the construction of the new Andrews station.
He was employed by McNeely Trucking, making a career out of a favorite childhood pastime of driving trucks and playing in the dirt.
His greatest accomplishment was being the world’s best father to his three beautiful daughters.
Jeff was known for his strong work ethic and energy, perpetual smile, joyful laugh, his ability to make everyone feel special, his childlike enthusiasm for life, his sincere love for people, and for being a man who walked like Jesus. To know Jeff was to love him; you have never really been hugged unless you have been hugged by Jeff Sparks.
He loved trucks, cowboy boots, bluegrass music, his momma’s cabbage rolls and audio books. But, his greatest joy was spending time with his wife of 33 years and his daughters.
In addition to his parents, Bernard and Marie Sparks, he was preceded in death by his son, Caelan Jeffrey Sparks; brother, Ramon Sparks; and nephew, Gabriel Sparks Rodrigo.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Sparks; daughters, Dr. Alyssa Sparks, Brionna Sparks Nay and husband Joshua, and Mylie Sparks; sister, Melissa Sparks Cope; and too many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends to name.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Marble Springs Baptist Church. Burial was in Valleytown Cemetery.
The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Marble Springs Baptist Church.
