  • Receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood.
  • Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress your immune system;
  • Received a stem cell transplant within the last two years or are taking medicine to suppress your immune system.
  • Have a moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency.
  • Have advanced for untreated HIV infection;
  • Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that suppress an immune response.

       The health department is still awaiting word on when others will be approved to get the booster shot. For details, call 837-7486 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
