    Willa Belle Kernea, 80, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, in Murphy Rehab and Nursing.
    Willa Belle was a homemaker and enjoyed singing.
    She was born in Clay County to the late Homer and Cleo Anderson Dockery. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kernea; two brothers, Jack Dockey and Frank Dockery; and a sister, Bertha Loudermilk.
    Surviving are four sons, Johnny Kernea, Larry Kernea and wife Jill, and Eddie Kernea, all of Murphy, and Tim Kernea and wife Debbie of Morganton, Ga.; a daughter, Brenda Anderson of Murphy; two brothers, Howard Dockery of Dalton, Ga., and Jerry Dockery of Murphy; a sister, Pauline Beavers of Murphy; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, with Pastor Hoyt Brown officiating. Interment was in Bellview Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nathan Arrant, Greg Sharp, Thomas Beavers, T.J. Dockery, Matt Burrell and Michael Kernea.
    The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
