    Susan Monulette Williams, 46, died at her home in Murphy on Thursday, June 3, 2021, after a lengthy illness.
    She was born June 19, 1974 in Memphis, Tenn., the daughter of Monroe and Francis Williams.   
    Susan graduated from James Madison High School in 1992.
    After graduation, she worked with her mother and father in their family business. She was also involved with her church.  
    Susan is survived by her daughter, Alex Williams; and her mother, Francis.  She has three brothers, Tim Williams, David Williams, Phillip Williams, and the late Charles Williams. She also has a sister, C. Dawn Williams.
    Monulette left behind many beloved friends. Among those are Joseph and Marilyn Thweatt of Southaven, Miss.; Jerry and Betty Browning of Southaven, Miss., and Jim and Stacy Miller of Murphy. Monulette also had a few other special friends that meant the world to her: “Mr. Raper;” her bankers, Kevennie Westmoreland, Nita Dockery, Cody and Clarice; her medical team of Dr. Sneed, Leslie, April, Drew and Valerie; and Justin Dockery and Fred Addington.
    There is no service planned.  
    The family requests that donations be made to Cherokee County Ministerial Association at P.O. Box 1422, Murphy, NC 28906.
    Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, is in charge of arrangements.
