Susan Jane Carrow, 59, of Andrews, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021.
She was raised in Cherokee County where she spent most of her life.
She was known for her sense of humor and ability to make others laugh. She had a big heart and helped anyone in need. Susan enjoyed crafting and coloring with her grandkids, who were her heart and joy in life.
She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Wanda Cornwell Reid, and wife of the late William Carrow. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Farley.
Surviving are a daughter, Suzanne McLelland and husband Joel of Andrews; a son, Thomas Jones and wife Cassie of Charlotte; three sisters, Teresa Bateman and husband Eldridge of Andrews; Mary Reid of Murphy; Sheila Woods and husband Ronald of Franklin; three brothers, Joey Reid and wife Sonya of Murphy; Mike Reid, also of Murphy; and James Reid of Andrews; five grandchildren, Emma, Brady and Audrey McLelland, and Landry and Grayson Jones. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Truett Baptist Association Children’s Home, 75 W. Vineyard Lane, Hayesville, NC 28904.
