Mary Elizabeth Roberts, 75, of Murphy, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late William and Virdie Crowder Cook.
Mary retired from the Cherokee County Schools; she worked in the cafeteria.
Mary was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Saundra Sneed of Murphy; two sons, Kenneth Roberts and wife Julie of Jasper, Ga., and William Roberts and fiancee Beth Emert of Murphy; two brothers, Bill and James Cook, both of Murphy; eight grandchildren, Blake, Baron, Chance, Kenda, Drew and Kayla Roberts, and Justin and Destiny Sneed; five great-grandchildren, Axton and Kadence Sneed, and Everly, Maxine and Harlan Roberts.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Revs. Matthew Mull and Eddie Cook officiated. Music was provided by Dinah Cook and Ray Cook. Burial was in the Roberts Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Blake, Baron, Benjamin, Christopher, Chance and Drew Roberts, Justin Sneed and Colton Gibby.
The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
