Linda Norton

    Linda Faye Palmer Norton of Acworth, Ga., passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021.
    Linda was born in Murphy on July 22, 1948, to the late William Howard Palmer and Ellen Nora Barnett Palmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Fred Norton, and her parents.
    Survivors include her children: daughter, Belinda Rollins; sons, Troy and Wesley Norton; grandchildren, Richard, Jordan and Justin; and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Breydan.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Boiling Springs Baptist Church, 3170 Boiling Springs Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
