John Edward Potts II, 75, of Murphy, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021.
John was born in Detroit, Mich., to the late John and Mildred Scudder Potts.
He was owner and operator of John E. Potts Insurance. John loved boating, hunting, fishing, RVing and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Potts; sons, John Potts III and Michael Potts Sr. and wife Afryl; daughter, Kimberly Bourdeau and husband Tim; brother, David Potts and wife Daria; sister, Betty Stevenson; grandchildren, Kalay Potts, Austin Potts, John Potts IV, Devin Potts, Cody Potts, Kaden Potts, Summer Potts, Michael Potts Jr., Holly Potts, T.J. Bourdeau and Kristy Bourdeau; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
