Chasity Shanae Anderson, 30, of Andrews, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021.
She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County.
Chasity had worked as a cosmetologist for over 10 years and was a truly gifted hairstylist. She was selected by Pulp Riot, from among the most skilled stylists in the country, to become an educator for them. She was most recently employed by Turning Heads by Tina in Murphy.
Chasity enjoyed photography and was blessed with an artistic soul. She was an amazing person that was loved by everyone that knew her. Chasity had a smile that could light up a room and a contagious laugh. We can only imagine the beauty of Heaven through her artistic eyes. She loved life and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers, James Arden Kephart and Dickey Anderson.
Chasity was the daughter of Audrey Kephart LeQuire and stepdaughter of Mark Dickey of Murphy.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiance, Ricky Hipps of Andrews; three sisters, Christian LeQuire of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Allison LeQuire and Isabella Dickey of Murphy; maternal grandmother, Barbara Ann Kephart of Murphy; one aunt, Deborah Burchfield of Mableton, Ga.; one uncle, Mike Kephart of Hayesville; and one special cousin who was like a brother, Mark Jason Gerbino and wife Lydia of Murphy. She is also survived by many cousins and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 7, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, with the Rev. Zack Orton officiating. Music will be provided by Andrew Chastain. Interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Blake McDonald, Brett McDonald, Sean Bain, Jimmy Setser, Brett Jones, Bobby Oberg, Jose Alvarez and Jason Gerbino.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy.
