Billy Lee Walker, 65, of Murphy, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021.
Billy was born Feb. 5, 1956, in Ohio to Annie Green Walker and the late Mack Walker.
He was an oxygen tank filler. Billy had also worked for Interstate Welding, Cherokee Well Drilling, Texaco in Peachtree and Henson Hoke Septic.
He liked to help people in need.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Reba Riffle and husband Clark, and Louise DeCastro and husband Dudley.
A funeral service was held at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy. The Rev. Aud Brown officiated. Burial was in Pine Log Cemetery. Pallbearers included Clark Riffle, David Owens, Henry Shaw, Gary Welch, Ronnie Chastain and Eric Younce. Honorary pallbearer was Bill Younce.
The family will received friends from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
