    Barbara Coker Hall, 83, of Brasstown, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Barbara was looking forward to being in heaven, taking care of God’s children there.
    She was born Oct. 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Mack and Blanche Coker.
    She was a long-time member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church, where she had served as children’s Sunday school teacher and nursery worker. Mrs. Hall, alongside her husband, Edward Hall, provided custodial service to Little Brasstown Church for 28 years.
    Mrs. Hall provided loving child care in her home for more than 20 years, proudly helping raise many children within a 30-mile radius.
    Surviving are her loving husband of 62 years, Edward Hall; three sons, Darrell
Hall and wife Kim of Dahlonega Ga., David Hall and wife Deanna of Brasstown, and Dewayne Hall and wife Mandy of Maysville, Ga.; two sisters, Mary Wood of Oregon and Jean Tipton of Tennessee; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, with the Rev. Aud Brown officiating. The interment will be in Maggie’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan, Jackson and Bryson Hall, Jonathan Landy, Kent Carringer and David Dockery.
    The family will receive friends from noon-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, prior to the services.
    The family requests memorials be made in memory of Barbara Coker Hall to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 164, Murphy, NC 28906.
