Vincent Charles Linquanti, 60, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Mr. Linquanti was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Bronx, N.Y., to the late George Thomas Linquanti and Vada Wease Linquanti. A member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Linquanti.
Vincent was a plumber by trade.
He served his country bravely during the Vietnam War, enlisting in the U.S. Navy.
In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf, bowling, singing karaoke and in church. He loved spending time with his church family, who were very important to him.
Survivors include his loving wife, LaDonna Scruggs Linquanti; three daughters and one son, Angie, Shannon, Tiffany and Steve; one sister and her partner, Terry and Micki; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Murphy with the Revs. Keith Blalock and Paul Beaster officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers included Zack Blalock, Riley Blalock, Matthew Kilpatrick, Lucas Kilpatrick, Hunter Shope and Zane Beaster.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Arrangements were entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy.
