Thomas James Davis, 58, of Anderson, S.C., passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday, June 2, 2018.
Thomas was born April 16, 1960, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Vernon Davis and Gladys Dockery Davis. He is an alumnus of both Youngstown State University and the University of Tennessee, obtaining two baccalaureate degrees, one in business administration and one in political science.
He worked as the general manager at the Hilton Garden Inn in Anderson, S.C.
Thomas, an avid reader and baseball fan, also enjoyed computers and keeping up to date with the newest technology. His love for the great state of North Carolina was well known.
Thomas was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, as well as many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his father and mother, Vernon and Gladys of Murphy; his brother, Michael (Pamela) Davis, Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews, whom he deeply loved.

Thomas will be greatly missed by many, as his life has impacted numerous people that have had the pleasure of knowing him.
