Mary Lou Ware

    Mary Lou Dunn Ware, 79, of the Hot House community in Cherokee County, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, in an Atlanta, Ga., hospital.
    A native of Fannin County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late John Henry Dunn and Amie Allen Dunn.
    She was a homemaker and faithful member of Temple Baptist Church for more than 50 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Major Dunn.
    Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Corban Ware; children, Larry Ware and wife Linda of Cumming, Ga.; Perry Ware and wife Donna of Murphy; David Ware and wife Kimberly of Morganton, Ga.; Joyce Ware Johnson of Gastonia; grandchildren, Michele Ware of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Brian Ware of New Bern, Whitney Ware of Charlotte, Kingston Ware of Morganton, Ga., Sam Richardson of Gaffney, S.C., Debbie Barnett of Gastonia; five great-grandchildre; and brother, Billy Dunn of Flowery Branch, Ga.
    Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
    The family received friends from 2-3:30 p.m. prior to the service.
