Linda Rhodes, 65, of Andrews, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, at her residence.
She was a native of Cherokee County. Linda was a daughter of the late Guy Phillips and Kay Lance Coffey. She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Clyde Coffey. and a brother, Jerry Coffey.
Linda was of the Baptist faith and a hairdresser. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Linda is survived by her husband, Rodgers Rhodes; daughter, Tammy Valle and husband Juan; sons, Michael Gamble and wife Jamey and Chris Gamble; stepsons, Mitchell and Donnie Rhodes; step-daughters, Connie Evans, Eunice Ashe and Sonia Rhodes; brothers, Dan and Donny Taylor, David and John Coffey, Randy and Larry Phillips; sisters, Wanda and Sharon Phillips and Debra Lee; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Revs. William Gamble and Dennis Ashe will officiate. Burial will be in Moss Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Gamble, Andrew Valle, Waylon Coffey, Mark Amos, Brother Ashe and Tootie Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Gamble, Kaleb Gamble, Logan Gamble, Stephen Gamble and Juan Valle.
The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
