Justin Alan Jensen, 33, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
He was born in Tampa, Fla., to Deborah Jensen of Florida and the late Bruce Jensen.
Justin retired as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marines. During his time in the Marines, he was in a documentary at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, “Battle of the Belleau Wood” in Triangle, Va. Justin received several medals during his career: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon (Kuwait/Iraq), Iraq Campaign Medal (W/I Star) and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He was a member of Journey Fellowship.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy Chaney Jensen; children, Tony, Isaac, Joseph, Isabella, Elizabeth, Janessa and Adaline, all of the home; and one sister, Kyra Jensen.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Patrick Garrett will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
