Judy Alivia Lewis, 75, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Pender County, North Carolina, to the late Rufus and Mamie Pearsall Blanton. She was of the Baptist faith, loved reading and her little dog, Layla.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randal Scott Lewis; brothers, Martin, Dawson and Alton Blanton; and sister, Virginia Branham.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Jason Lewis and girlfriend Renee Crowder of Andrews; daughter, Lynette Gray and husband Chet of Brasstown; grandson, J.T. Gray; brothers, Earl Blanton of Lexington, and Larry Blanton of Asheboro; sister, Norma Faye Broxton of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Townson-Rose Chapel of Andrews. The Rev. Chris Flick will officiate. Pallbearers will be J.T. Gray, Chet Gray, Tom Bzotte, Ted Cook Robbie Revis and Tony White. Burial will be in Valleytown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
