Grace Rogers Clonts, 96, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home.
She was a native of Cherokee County, and daughter of the late Bass R. and Amanda Isadore Stiles Rogers.
Grace was the wife of the late Marshall J. Clonts, who died July 26, 1990. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Rogers and Claude Rogers; four sisters, Hazel Whitaker, Gladys Carter, Desmer Allen and Frances Nichols.
She is survived by her son, J. Larry Clonts and wife Margaret Keenum Clonts of Johns Creek, Ga.
Grace enjoyed crafts of all types gardening, planting flowers, cooking and participating in church related activities at Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a longtime member.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Pastor Harold Stiles officiated. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in the Peachtree community.
The family received friends from noon-1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
