Clarence Eric Campbell, 48, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at his residence.
He was born in Jackson County, Ga., to the late Ralph Campbell and Vivian Ledford of Murphy.
Eric was a truck driver. He enjoyed helping people, Alabama football and working out. Eric loved his family.
He was a member of Bealtown Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Will Campbell.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two daughters, Samantha Carroll of the Peachtree community and Ericka Campbell of Marble; two brothers, Roger Campbell of Chatsworth, Ga., and Ralph Eugene Campbell Jr. of Murphy; two sisters, Denise Baklid of Orange City, Fla., and Donna Laren Poole of Easley, S.C.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Ronnie Crisp officiated. Burial was in Sunny Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Derrick Penland, Jason Roberts, Dwight Estep, Jason Pinkerton, Hubbie Garland, Harold Garland and Steve Garland.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
