Toys for Tots brightens Christmas

Murphy – Cherokee County’s Toys for Tots program had another successful year, making Christmas bright for 1,081 children. “Everybody we gave to was very happy,” organizer John Evans said. “There were a lot of tears and hugging. Everyone was surprised by the quality of the toys that were donated.”
