Schedule of entertainment for A Very Murphy Christmas

There is plenty of fun coming to downtown Murphy on Saturday, Dec. 1, as A Very Murphy Christmas makes its debut as a new holiday festival. The schedule of entertainment is as follows:

    * 10 a.m. – MountainView Church
    * 10:30 a.m. – Theresa Jo Gaffney
    * 11 a.m. – Murphy Elementary School
    * 11:30 a.m. – The Rumfelt Family
    * Noon – Sean Mark Paul’s comedy
    * 12:30 p.m. – Theresa Jo Gaffney
    * 1 p.m. – Dead Falcon’s Punk Christmas
    * 1:30 p.m. – Larry Thunder Wolf Limon’s flute playing and storytelling
    * 2 p.m. – Exaltation by Murphy First United Methodist Church
    * 2:30 p.m. – Murphy High School and Tri-County Early College Choirs
    * 3 p.m. – Reindeer Games by Murphy high and middle schools
    * 3:30 p.m. – Murphy High Marching Band
    * 4 p.m. – Reindeer Games by Murphy high and middle schools
    * 4:30 p.m. – Murphy High Marching Band
    * 5 p.m. – Braden Rumfelt and Matthew Roach
    * 5 :30 p.m. – Ugly Christmas Sweater and Selfie Scavenger Hunt winner announcement
    * 6 p.m. – Murphy Gets Lit parade
    * 7 p.m. – Tree-lighting ceremony and performances from cellist Grace Raper, soloist Hope Ledford and the Murphy High A Capella Choir.
