Dunkin Donuts coming to Murphy

Murphy – Like an edible phoenix rising from the flames, a Dunkin’ Donuts is resurfacing from the newly demolished Long John Silver’s /A&W on 650 U.S. 64 W.
Attached to a Fastop Market, the Dunkin’ Donuts also will contain a drive-through. The gas station promises discount prices.
Town zoning administrator Frank Dickey signed the official certificate for the property on Aug. 24. The certificate says the lot is owned by Wells & West/Dunkin’ Donuts and leased out to Knoxville, Tenn.-based contractor Richardson Turner Construction.
The end date for the Fastop Market and Dunkin’ Donuts has not been confirmed. Richardson Turner Construction declined comment regarding the building project, which will take months to complete.
